Dr Swee Yong Peng is Kampung Senang's Honorary President and also the first doctor in Singapore to be registered to practise both Western Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in Singapore.

After graduating from the National University of Singapore with a MBBS, Dr Swee worked as a resident Medical Officer at East Shore Hospital. Fuelled by his deep interest in uncovering holistic treatments for patients, Dr Swee decided to explore alternative medical treatments and came upon TCM in 1995. He eventually went on to obtain a professional Diploma in TCM and Acupuncture from Singapore, and subsequently a Master of Medicine in TCM, specialising in Integration of TCM and Western Medicine from the Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine in China. Dr Swee also holds a Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine.

Amidst his busy work schedules, Dr Swee provides free medical consultation for Kampung Senang's patients. In addition, he treats patients at the Chung Hwa Free Clinic and gives lectures at the Singapore College of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Dr Swee was the Head of the A&E Department of Mount Elizabeth Hospital, the Medical Director of Fudan Vision, and the Vice President of the Singapore College of Traditional Chinese Medicine TCM). He is currently the CEO of the Primary Care Network of Parkway Health and is in charge of its TCM arm. Dr Swee also runs a general practice in the Parkway Health Day Surgery and Medical Centre.
